The data miner also shared a variety of models and assets. Several of them were utilized in Doom 2016, such as weapon and zombie models, along with a character in the multiplayer mode.

It’s worth noting that Doom 4 was originally scheduled for release in the early 2010s on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. However, id Software faced resource limitations during development, as they were also working on Rage. Additionally, the project received significant criticism for its noticeable similarities to Call of Duty. Consequently, they made the decision to cancel the game.

By the way, there has been some insider information circulating about the announcement of a new Doom game.
