According to Windows Central, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and CFO Amy Hood are implementing strategies to improve margins across all departments. Franchises such as Minecraft and Call of Duty have consistently maintained their presence across multiple platforms, even after Microsoft acquired their developers. However, recent reports suggest that discussions are underway to expand the availability of these games to rival platforms like PlayStation.

It has been reported that Microsoft has an internal plan called “Latitude” that aims to bring Xbox games to other platforms. Additionally, there are more Microsoft games that will soon be available on PlayStation.

However, it appears that there is some debate and discussion surrounding the initiative, with differing opinions on its merits. If Microsoft expands its game availability across multiple platforms, it could potentially diminish the incentive to buy an Xbox console.

Earlier this year, Microsoft announced its plans to bring Sea of Thieves, Pentiment, Grounded, and Hi-Fi Rush to other platforms with expert precision. Sea of Thieves had an exceptional performance, ranking among the top 25 best-selling games on PlayStation 5 last month.
